The Principal of a government school in Nyor Diaplay Town, District # 5 in Nimba Alison Kpahn, is calling on the government of Liberia through the Ministry of Education and other humanitarian organization to come to their aid to construct an annex to the school.

Nyor Display is a town located in Nyor chiefdom in District # 5 which host the home of Representative Samuel G. Korga and Senator Prince Yormie Johnson.

The town which population is estimated at a little over 2,500 inhabitants, has the only junior high school that was constructed by government in 1965 and is also providing education for other surrounding towns in the chiefdom

Speaking to reporters recently in Diaplay Town, the principal of the only Junior High school Mr. Alison Kpahn explained that the building cannot host the growing population of students thus forcing them to combine classes during regular school hours something he lamented that is hampering the smooth learning process of the future generation.

Principal Kpahn claimed that the school and community dwellers have made frantic effort to construct a four class room annex to help ease the tension to help reduce some of the constrains faced by the school and parents, but lacks financial support to continue the work.

He asserted that challenges faced by parents and educators to smoothly run the school need an intervention by well meaning citizens hailing from the town and the chiefdom.

The principal revealed that the school has eight assigned government teachers and three volunteers’ teachers and enroll about 950 students for the 2019/2020 academic year.
