Eights Motorbikes donated to National Teachers Association county chapters

The National Teachers Association of Liberia(NTAL) has presented eight new motorbikes for use by its  county presidents.

The counties include Montserrado, Bong,Nimba, Margibi, Gbarpolu, Bomi, Grand Bassa and Grand Cape Mount Counties.

NTAL president madam Mary W. Mulbah-Nyumah noted that the mobility will ensure effective and efficient reporting of issues around  teachers in the various counties.

She maintained that the association is doing everything possible to advocate for the improvement of Liberian teachers living standard in the teaching profession.

According to her, the perception that teachers are poor set of people,  is untrue noting that the teaching is a noble profession that can also help to transform the society.

Madam Nyumah stressed that the motorbikes  will go a long way to ease   county presidents  movement gather relevant information concerning teachers in the various educational districts to inform the head office.

She emphasized that with the partnership between the association and SAAR Insurance Company, the motorbikes were made available to improve the condition of the county presidents.

She expressed thank and appreciation to the Liberian Government to enhance the process .

Meanwhile, the Secretary General of NATL, Dominic D. M. Suah Sr. said the motorbikes for officials in the counties will ensure the present of the association in every educational districts across the country.

Mr. Suah stated that the brain of the association more are depend on the county presidents to have easy access to the difficult roads in the counties and districts.

He said they are grateful to the dynamic leadership especially the Natuonal President Nyumah for her farsighted to ensure that the county presidents  get motorbikes for their smooth operation.

In a related development, the county presidents expressed thank and appreciation to the National Leadership of NATL for making avaliable these motorbikes to them.

They noted that the bad roads condition in the various is hampering the effectiveness and efficiency of their works, but with mobility such as motorbikes they will be able to reach places which  are most difficult to access by vehicles.

They assured that National Leadership of NATL of their commitment to work for the betterment of the association.
