Former Senator Adolphus Dolo Makes huge donation to Nimba county

In helping his people to combat the deadly Coronavirus in the county, former Nimba County Senator Saye Taayor A. Dolo has made  huge donation of food and non food items to various healthcare centers  and recent storm victims in the county. 

On Tuesday May 12, 2020 former senator Dolo made a donation of several medical supplies to over 50 medical facilities across Nimba County including the Arcelor Mittal Hospital in Yekepa, Sanniquellie G. W. Harley Hospital, Ganta United Methodist Hospital, and the Saclepea Comprehensive Hospital. 

Other health facilities that benefited from the gesture include the Gbehlay-Geh Health Center, Bahn Health Center in Zoe Geh Health District and  the Jackson F Doe Memorial Hospital in Tappita lower Nimba County. 

Materials donated were 400 PPE suits, 2 sterilisation machines, 1000 pieces of face shields, over 15,000 pieces of Latex Free Syringes and Needles, over 20,000 pieces of Latex Examination Gloves, 61 Liters of Clorox, 2,250 bags of tide soap, 150 pieces of Buckets, 200 bags of rice. 

Intervening for the recent storm victims in the county, the former Nimba County policymakers donated 200 Bags of Cement, and 100 bundle of Zinc to be distributed on storm victims in Baylehglay Town in District #4, Mankinto #1 in District #2 and Quandeen Town in District #6 respectively. 

Speaking to press at his residents in Sanniquellie after the donation, Senator SAYE-TAAYOR A. Dolo express thanks to the medical workers he described as frontliners and also express his deepest sorrow to the storm victims. 

Senator Dolo further lauded all of his compatriots that have help in the process of fighting the virus and cautioned fellow Nimbaians that have the means to help their fellow kinsman who can not easily afford. 

He explained that the fight against the coronavirus as requires the collective effort of all Liberians, adding that the well being of his people is his paramount concern. 

Senator Dolo put the value of the donation at a little over  LRD$3,564,000 or US$18,000.00.
