The Patriotic Entrepreneurs of Liberia (PATEL) has warned some intruders and misguided individuals who are impersonating as PATEL’s Officials in the corridor of the Liberian Business Community to desist from such act in the society.
According to the National Chairman Presley S. Tenwah, PATEL wants to send out this warning to the Liberia Business Association (LIBA) and all those that continues to shield such group of people and their likes.
Chairman Tenwah made the statement Thursday at a Press Conference held at PATEL’s Head Office in Sinkor.
He indicated that PATEL wants to publicly distance herself from all LIBA previous and current Press Release or Conferences Until otherwise, noting that PATEL is an institution that works with responsible trade and economic development organizations within the Liberia Business Community.
He pinpointed that PATEL is working with the National Port Authority (NPA) to address challenges our people faced with in clearing and shipping goods to Liberia.
Chairman Tenwah lauded President George Manneh Weah for the appointment of PATEL on the Committee to produce and distribute one million “Nose Mask” in the country.
He added that PATEL would like to appreciate President Weah for the support of Liberia National Tailor Union an umbrella organization of PATEL.
“We are combination of Liberia Smaller Businesses and Entrepreneurs group that vision to promote economic self-reliance, capacity development, trade and general advocacy for the business community” He said.
Chairman Tenwah asserted that this entity is a legalized establishment and the voice of the general business community that aims to grow our country’s economy from the private sector to compliment the efforts of government.
He noted that since the establishment of PATEL on the 9th of August , 2016, tremendous efforts had been made to ensure a wholesome and better economic condition for all Liberians.
He maintained that the fight for 100 percent exclusive retail right for Liberian owned businesses, the decreased in interest rate on bank loans, and the fight to create a better trade facilitation in the Free port of Monrovia among others.
