Report from Wohomba, Lofa County says six police officers have allegedly Brutalized a 50years old woman identified as Jenneh Ndebeh after the lifeless body of a missing 80 years old woman was discovered in a swamp belonging to her.
The police Professional standard division (PSD)in the county is currently investigating inspector Christina Taylor and five other police officers of the Kolahun police detachment for the severely beating on a 50 years old survivor.
The six police officers are Sgt., Peter Beyan, Jacob F, Fomba, Andrew H, Tamba, Frank Williams and inspector Christina Taylor.
Residents of the county wonder why Police officers who should protect lives and properties are the ones taking the lead in torturing and manhandling or accusing peaceful without investigation or doing what the laws or penal code says.
The alleged police officers are all assigned at the Kolahun District police station in Kolba City were invited for investigation by the Professional standard Division of police in Voinjama City over the weekend in connection with the recent mad handling and brutal beating of a 50 years old woman, Madam Jenneh Ndebay.
Madam Jenneh Ndebeh is seen with brushes all over her body, alleged that she was invited for questioning by police officers after a lifeless body of a 80 years old woman was found in a swamp belonging to her. Something according to her she knows nothing about.
According to her, officer Frank Williams popularly known as “Fat Boy “carried her behind a house, asked her to offer last prayer, and began beating on her with a cable wire.
Meanwhile, the sad situation has led to many human rights activists and Civil Society groups in the County have since condemned the alleged wicked act melted against the 50-year-old woman and called on national Government to ensure that Justice is served into the matter for the victim.
