Tubmanburg, Bomi Co._President George Manneh Weah, said it is time the his Government reach out to the People of Liberia in whatsoever way.

He has  highlighted  development as the Hallmark of his leadership and that includes the Construction of roads, Schools, markets buildings among others as the best way.

The President said this about time, the Government of Liberia is taken in the rural part, so the common people can feel and enjoy the Working of the Government. ” It is time we take the Government to the people, whatever that will happen in Monrovia can happen in rural parts of our country.

” If we have roads, Schools, in Monrovia, we try our best to have it in other part of our Country, despite the criticism we will do our best, President Weah asserted.

Speaking at the one day Town hall meeting President George Weah, recommitted himself to development Liberia, the President in his statement vowed to light-up the entire Liberia, as long I am the President of Liberia, I will do my best to developing my Country.

I thank you for reposing the confident in me and I will work hard to ensure that development hit every part of Liberia, he said.

President Weah, committed  himself to lighting up all major Cities and villages, before the end of his administration. I will light up every major cities under my administration, like I did in SassTown, Grand Kru County, that will happen in every part of our Country.

God himself as speak and said let their be light and there was light, so under this administration will make sure to light up, every part of Liberia and development taste is just part of our agenda as a Government, President Weah said.

At the same time, President Weah, threatens to jail, those in the habit of destroying the street lights, frowning on them as distractors to development. “if they do not want to see the lights“, let them sit in doors.

The Liberian leader highlighted road connectivity, loan empowerment of Market women, health concern are things his government will address gradually. But pleaded to his people to be patient and trust him as their leader.

 “Liberia will get better under my administration”, he emphasized.

For his part, the Commissioner of Dewein District, Bomi County, Ballah Bue describes the President’s visit as very historic since over four decades ago, Commissioner Bye, express hope that the President visit, will bring development to Bomi County.

He named the elevation of the District clinic to a Hospital, development of educational facilities, youth empowerment and vocational and skills training opportunities as well as road construction within the District among others.
