A group of disadvantage youth comply known in Liberia as Zogos are calling on government and well-meaning Liberians to rehabilitate them from the current condition.

The name Zogos is giving to people who have been addicted to dangerous drugs as a way of life in the streets.

The group of disadvantage youth all women told Liberia Public Radio over the weekend that it is not easy to leave the use of dangerous drug after been addicted to it.

They compare the impact of the substance to the Ebola Virus.

Speaking behalf of the disadvantage women recently, Monica Menatee, commonly known as Monica Jesus said they have decided to leave drugs and become useful in society, but there is no rehabilitation center to transform their lives for the better.

Manatee revealed that she does not know her family, and has made several interviews intended to draw the attention of family members if there is any but to no avail.

She at the same time disclosed that leaving drugs is a decision that surely lies on the shoulders of the drugs users.

“You can even take us from Liberia to America, once we are not ready you will be wasting your time she noted, mentioning that there cries for rehabilitation is a clear indication that there were tired of taking drugs.

Manatee is meanwhile calling on all Liberians to embrace them, as they are human like any other person in society indicating that stigmatizing them will not help change the situation.
