Liberia national football team coach, Englishman Peter Butler has named his final 22-member of the Liberia National team for the double headed- FIFA World Cup qualifying matches tour that begins early next month against Nigeria.
The Lone Star will be away over the next fortnight during the September FIFA international World Cup qualifying rounds to play the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Central African Republic CAR.
After careful vetting and selection of players early Friday a release a list of 22- players was called for party against high-flying Nigeria on September 3 and Central African Republic on September 8.
Butler named Seven locals accompanied by 15 professional players for the crucial games. The Lone Star first travel to Lagos to face Nigeria at the Teslim Balogun Stadium and a trip to Yaounde, Cameroon to play the Central African Republic C.A.R. is also on the card, after CAF earlier this week denied Liberia right to host International home matches at the famous Samuel Kanyon to Sports Complex in Paynesville.
According to the Confederation of African Football CAF, the stadium did not meet the requirements to hold International matches, therefore Liberia must play it’s home matches in Cameroon.
The will be at least Five new faces in the team, Peter Butler has handed a debut call-ups for Hatayspor forward Mohammed Kessely Kamara (Keka), Swedish-born Justin Salmon of Allevanskan club Degerfors, strikers Abu Kamara Razard of Makedonija in Macedonia, Ayouba Kosiah of NAC Breda in Netherland and Brem Souamaro of Paeek FC in the Cypriot Top Division.
There’s no place for Captain Sam Johnson of Mjallby, whom is facing one-match suspension for two yellow cards against CHAD in an AFCON qualifying matches, while Newcastle United Mohammed Sangare, Cyprus base Peter Wilson, forward Seku Conneh of IBV (Iceland) and IK Brage Midfielder Seth Kanteh Hellberg are all missing from the team.
Switz- base Aarau Midfielder Allen Njie is expected to lead the team in the absence of Skipper Sam Johnson, which will also includes sensational Murphy Oscar Dorley of Slavia Praha, inspirational Midfielder David Teklo Tweh of Belarusian club Rukh Brest, experience Marcus Macauley of Jordan club Sahab and goal punching Kpah Sherman of Kedah FA (Malaysia) among others.

Meanwhile- Peter Butler remains in charge of the Liberia National team – Initially rumour surface that the English Coach was relief of his post, But inside source at the Liberia Football Association has denied the coach being release of his work, after missing just a training session on Wednesday.
The source said Butler is still in Charge of the Lone Star, after clear reviewing of his new contract offer and he will stand on the lines when Liberia begin the World Cup qualifying campaign against Nigeria.
