CSI challenges youth patriotism in Liberia

The Country Director of the Child Steps International(CSI)has challenged Liberian Youth to be patriotic to transform the socio and economic development of the country.

Director Otis S. Bundor stated that patriotism is critical for the transformation of Liberia and the youth of Liberia have crucial role to play to change the current narrated of the nation development drive.

Director Bundor made the statement recently at the Miracle’s Haven  of the Initiative for the Next Move Best Move Emerging Leadership Campaign held in Monrovia.

According to him, if Liberian youth should understand their civic  education  which is responsible to teach the duties and responsibilities of every citizen will enhance the spirit of patriotism .

He noted that the lack of patriotism among the youth have encouraged certain behaviors which are  counterproductive toward the growth and the development of Liberia

Director Bundor stressed that patriotism will stand against corruption in the public sector and bad policies that could undermine the advancement of the country.

He pointed that Liberian youth should be positive with their minds set rather than be negative about everything that is prevailing now in Liberia.

He maintained that the transformation of Liberia in the 21 first century depends on the youth of Liberia and they should be constructive in their behavior  to ensure that the narrative of the country is change for the better.

Director Bundor emphasized that as emerging leaders of Liberia,they should set good example for other to follow their foot step to transform the nation in the near future.
