Police in Grand Bassa apprehends a 35- year-old identified as Garnayee Peters for allegedly killing his 36-Years -fiancee Theresa Peters over memory Card dispute .
The incident occurred in St. John Community, District #3 C during the afternoon hours of Thursday, December 30, 2021 .
A memory card is an electronic data storage device used for storing digital information, typically using flash memory.
According to reports, Garnayee Peter and his late fiancée Theresa Peter been together since 2008 and they both had three (3) children , Two(2) girls and a boy.
The alleged suspect told police that the incident occurred after he asked his friend Emmanuel David for mp3 player to use and play music.
“ When I got home , I asked my wife to use her 2GB memory card to play music but she refused “.
He furthered “ I tried to take her phone from her to removed the memory card but my late wife hit me in my chest that’s how I blew her side and she fell”.
However, Peter does not have any past record of violence of similar nature
The alleged suspect Garnayee Peters has been detained at the Liberian National Police headquarters in Buchanan as investigation continues.
