Madam Flower said burying her late daughter will finally put her to rest in peace.
Madam Flower in tears, told the told local media, that she has rest since her daughter got “mysteriously killed” and there’s “no justice” and late daughter’s corpse continue to be reserved in mortuary for several months.
there has been series of protests from local groupings demanding justice into the untimely death of the 25-year-old girlSince Late Princess Cooper decay remains was found on March 24, 2022, lying in a pool of blood oozing from her mouth and nose in the compound of the FAWAZ Building Material Store around the ELWA Junction in Paynesville.
The Government of Liberia (GOL) through the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) of conducted the first autopsy on the body of the deceased stating that died as a result of Tuberculosis.
According to Dr. Benedict Kolee, Princess’ death was natural and caused by hemorrhagic shock, which is a a type of hypovolemic shock, where intravascular blood loss and consequent alterations in the cell due to the hypoxia result in tissue and organ dysfunction leading to death, once a certain threshold level is exceeded.
The autopsy report by Dr. Kolee and his colleague, Dr. Zoebon B. Kpadeh at the time, added that other causes of such death include massive hemorrhage from ruptured rasmussen aneurysm and erosion of bronchial vessels and progressive secondary pulmonary tuberculosis.
Massive hemoptysis arising from a Rmrasmussen’s aneurysm, is a potentially life-threatening condition involving bleeding from the pulmonary or bronchial vasculature which is usually due to higher pressure of the bronchial system.
In cases where bronchial artery embolization has not yet been performed, mortality approaches 70 percent.
“In our professional and expert opinion, the manner of death is NATURAL,” the pathologists wrote.
However, the family of the deceased rejected the autopsy report released by the government, stating that there is no medical history of their deceased daughter that she had TB, calling for another autopsy, which promopted the Intervention of President George Manneh Weah to order the family to search for an independent pathology that will conduct an independent, fair and transparent second autopsy on the deceased.
But since than, there hasn’t been anything autopsy conducted something the family termed as “injustice and unfair” demanding the Government of Liberia (GOL) to immediately release the body of their daughter for burial.

“We can say that there is no path for justice in Liberia. With what we have gone through, we can now confirm this road to obtaining justice [will] be a rocky path. Therefore, we the family have seen this as a fruitless journey, “family spokesperson Dr. Abel Momo had earlier said to journalists in Monrovia, demanding the Government release the body of his niece Princess Cooper.
Government of Liberia (GOL) through its mouthpiece, the Ministry of information culture and tourism (MICAT) has insisted on conducting the autopsy which was initially requested by the family of the late Princess Cooper in order to clear all allegations and claims they have received over the scores of time about the cause of Princess’ death.
In flashback of that, Deputy Information Minister Jarlawah A. Tonpo confirmed that the Government of Liberia had received a communication from the family of the late Princess Cooper, requesting the lifeless body of their daughter and at the same time asking for a peaceful burial.
But the Government of Liberia is still opting for a second independent autosy as was agreed by the parties to bring the case to close and end all mount of speculations concerning Princess death.
“We want to bring proper closure to this matter,” Tonpo said to journalists in response to Princess Cooper family demanding release of their daughter body.
