PUP Chairman Wants Nimbains trust former Rep. Garrison Yealue as a senator to foster national development

The National Chairman of the People’s Unification Party, Representative Samuel Kogar has assured the people of Nimba that he should take full responsibility for any bad leadership role played by Garrison Yealue if he (Garrison) is elected senator in the upcoming 2020 Dec. 8 election. 

Speaking to a cross-section of citizens over the weekend at the Nimba Intellectual Forum in Ganta City, Chairman Kogar said his affiliation with the Former Nimba Electoral District number four policymaker over the years has assured him that Garrison is the best candidate to represent  Nimba in the house of elders. 

The PUP chairman described the senatorial candidate and his former colleague at the 53rd legislature as a strong floor fighter whose   time at the Parliament yielded results for not only the county but the country at large. 

Rep. Kogar further termed as excellent Development agenda and good leadership exhibited by Yealue during his time as a representative in district four as evidence that the people of Nimba would not make a mistake if they give Hon. Yealue the second chance to serve the County.

Kogar revealed that Nimba is not benefiting her fair share of the national development cake due to what he termed as ‘bad leadership’ practice by one man who claims to be the owner of the County.

He maintained that the election of Atty. Yealue would be a relief that will pave the way for more development, noting that Nimba will be properly represented at the House or Senate if Yealue is elected comes December 8, 2020, senatorial election. 

He used the occasion and called on voters to elected people with good character, moral and ethical standards, but not base on material wealth. 

Representative Garrison Yearlue, Jr. is among several individuals from Nimba County vying for the senatorial seat in the county.

He was Representaive opf District#4 Nimba County between 2012 and 2017 and was defeated by younthful Gorpue Gargon in the 2017 legislative election.
