Liberia: Weah Lights up Tubmanburg after decades

“Talk and do, Darkness Medicine, the Bad road Medicine, the man of his word”,  Citizens of Tubmanburg sharow praises on President George Manneh Weah, as he fulfilled commitment to the people of Bomi, by turning on solar Street light of Tubmanburg which make the city.

The Tubmanburg City came live with lights  around 7 PM EST (11PM Liberian time) when the President turn on the switch, few steps away from the former President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf avenue as residents of Tubmanburg went into jubilant mood.

It is said the city of Tubmanburg, established approximately 40 years ago and been existing in the pillar of darkness and it is under the regime of President George Weah, that the city has been light-up.

The President said let there be light and there was light as he walking down from Pole to pole, along with his huge Entourage turning on the light switch and exactly Tubmanburg become beautify as the people celebrates.

Bomi County Superintendent, Adama Robertson, was so much grateful to the President for lighting up the City of Tubmanburg, It is a clear manifestation that he is true servant to his people, thank you Mr. President this, the Superintendent said.

” You will forever be remember in the history of Bomi County and you can see that the people are so happy for this, now there will be no fear to move around at night in Tubmanburg, thank you again, Mr. President, he added.

The lighting of the City of Tubmanburg is part of President George Manneh Weah, commitment to the people of Bomi which has turn into reality as part of his second Counties Tour in the rural parts of Liberia.

Tubmanburg has been without elecrticity like many rural cities in Liberia for decades

In continuation of the Presidential Electrification project is intended to give the people hope and to remove the darkness and replaced them with lights.

Majors cities and counties are currently benefiting from the light-up Liberia project as more beautification is expected in other cities across Liberia.

President Weah told Liberia Public Radio that  the Project is funded by the Liberian Government, which is now adding value and beauty to affected cities and communities.

President Weah, had earlier caution the citizens to protect, the light and warm distrators who are engage in negativity by unschooling the bub from the light poles, when caught will go to jail for 10years
