Liberian entrepreneur re-echoes the importance in peace

The Bukonjadeh Group of Companies want Liberians to maintain the peace and stability of Liberia in pending presidential and general elections in 2023.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of the Bukonjadeh Group of Companies, Elton Johns, peace and stability are crucial for the transformation and development of Liberia and it is incumbent upon every Liberian to ensure that the country remain stable and peaceful for greater investments.

Mr. Johns made the assertion over the weekend when the entity was honored as the Outstanding National Development Partner of the year by the Society for the Promotion of Peace, National Reconciliation and Reunification (SPPNRR) on Capitol Hill.

He indicated that  Bukonjadeh provides micro loan for several Liberian businesses and other individuals to  jump-start their businesses.

According to him, the Bukonjadeh Group of Companies was established in 2008 with various shareholders across the country.

Mr. Johns stated that the entity has been able to make significant strive to impact the business community in Liberia over the years and also working along with the government to improve the living standard of the Liberian people.

He stressed that the entity envisions to establish Micro Finance Bank in the near future to enhance the financing of Liberian’s  businesses while noting that the war in Ukraine poses serious economic constraint across the globe and Liberia is no exception.

Mr. Johns maintained that despite the global economic constraint, the company continue to strive in the business community in Liberia.

He urged Liberian from all occupations to rally around the government of the day to ensure that the country move forward for the betterment of every Liberian, adding that there is nowhere like home.

He asserted that negative criticism will not help to move the nation, but constructive views will enhance productive transformation of the country and its people.

Mr. Johns emphasized that peaceful environment will encourage investors to invest in the country which will create more jobs for Liberians.
