President Ouattara finally given green light for Blé Goudé  Return to Côte d’Ivoire

The return of Charles Blé Goudé to Côte d’Ivoire appears to a matter of days since the end of September 2022.

 The Ivorian authorities have given their written agreement for the return of the former youth ministry to take place in what president Ouattara’s government considers as “in a peaceful atmosphere and in good conditions”.

According to information, gathered president Ouattara has instructed Claude Sahi to facilitate the return to Cote d’Ivoire of Mr. Charles Blé Goudé.

Mr. Charles Blé Goudé return to his country will focus on how he can contribute to the strengthening of democracy and peace throughout Cote d’Ivoire.

The Ivorian political figure passport was issued and delivered by the government of President Alassane Ouattara about four (04) months ago.

 On September 30, 2022, the government of the West African State signed a written agreement for his return to Côte d’Ivoire.

 The information further maintained that the perspective for the return of Mr. Ble Goude take place in a peaceful atmosphere and in good conditions, the President of the Republic, Alassane Ouattara.

President Ouattara has also instructed his chief of staff, Ambassador Soumahoro Claude Sahi, to continue discussions with Charles Blé Goudé and/or his representatives, for the practical security arrangements related to this return.

The  exact date for his return to the country expected to be communicated to national and international opinion leaders as soon as possible.

 The situation in our country demanded it this is why, upon his return, the President of COJEP intends to take his full place, to fully play his role in the process of reconciliation underway in our country, the Côte d’Ivoire”, the president said.
