Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Thomas P. Fallah, the Vice Chairman for Operations and founding member of the Congress for Democratic Change (CDC), has welcomed his expulsion from the party and reaffirmed his commitment to the values and principles that initially inspired him to help establish the CDC.

Fallah emphasized the arbitrary, baseless, and unilateral expulsion, which contravenes the Constitution of the CDC, particularly Part II Bye-Laws, Chapter 1: Codes of Conduct under Temporary Suspension, Rule 18-19.

In a statement, Rep Fallah said  despite the requirement of due process, no procedure was followed, and no formal investigation was conducted, a stark contradiction by those who profess to uphold law and order.

He added that  arbitrary expulsion, like the prior suspension, is a flagrant abuse of power and mocks the essence of due process.

Despite these blatant and deliberate violations of the Deputy Speaker’s rights, he remains steadfast in his commitment to advancing the needs and interests of the people. He dismissed baseless allegations following a recent Capitol Hill controversy, stating that CDC members are well aware of the true culprits and architects of lies and deceit.

Fallah emphasized that his leadership has always been driven by a commitment to the best interests of the people and the CDC, and that his recent actions were intended to address a critical national issue that has often been misconstrued within a narrow political framework.

The Deputy Speaker Fallah, who has been expelled from the CDC, has expressed confidence that his actions will eventually be understood as selfless, despite facing criticism. He believes that the political narrative will evolve, and his decisions will be revealed as not for personal gain. Despite facing numerous obstacles, he has consistently prioritized the country’s best interests, even making difficult decisions.

The Deputy Speaker reaffirmed his commitment to the people and the principles that have shaped his nearly two decades of service within the CDC, stating that his dedication remains unshaken even in the face of lawless expulsion.

He stated that the CDC has been more than a party, and these relationships will not be broken by expelling his membership.
