Two strong members of COP, Rep. Yekeh Kolubah and Telia Urey

Montserrado County District 10 Representative Yekeh Kolubah and former Representative Candidate Telia Urey have officially terminated their membership with the Council of Patriots; provide distinctive reasons for their separate resignations.

Representative Yekeh Kolubah said his decision to resign from the COP is predicated upon recent statement by the group Chairman Henry Costa alleging that the organization has been supporting his legal battled at the Temple of Justice.

In his resignation letter posted on social media, Representative Kolubah claimed that at no time did the COP give support to his legal team and that recent statement made by talk show host Costa is a complete fallacy.

For her part, Telia Urey – a former Representative candidate in District 15 Montserrado County stressed that her resignation from the COP is due to personal reasons.

In a late Facebook post on Sunday, Miss Urey said, the termination of her membership from COP comes with heavy heart and that she has decided to take a new political path which will no longer entertain her existing membership with the political pressure group.

Meanwhile, COP Chairman Henry Costa through a live Facebook screaming video, acknowledged receipt of the two distinct resignations, but maintains that his organization has always financially supported the legal team of Representative Kolubah.

Both Rep Yekeh Kolubah and Telia Urey have been strong members of the council of patriots which led two successive public demonstrations in June 2019 and January 2020 respectively.
