A political Auxiliary group supporting the senatorial bid of former Nimba County Superintendent David Dorr Cooper has declared support for Saye Taryoor A Dolo. 

The group under the banner Ambassador to support Progressive Alliance of Cooper was established in 2019 with the aim of helping to politically market Dorr Cooper to become senator of Nimba County. 

Making their declaration of support for former Nimba County Senator Saye Taryoor A Dolo, ASPAC said that the group was immediately desloved as the name ASPAC no longer exist and was no longer supporting Cooper, but is now a part of Team Dolo 2020. 

“As of today’s date July 6, 2020, we the officials and members of Ambassador to support Progressive Alliance of Cooper do hereby pronounced that there is no more ASPAC, but we are now a part and members of Team Dolo 2020”. 

Citing reasons for relinquishing their support to Cooper, the group claimed that the former Nimba County Superintendent is lack of communication, consultation, failed to recognize them during this pandemic period among others. 

ASPAC disclosed that after carefully observing and examining would be candidates or contestants in the upcoming December special senatorial election, they elected to support former senator Dolo for his many contributions to the county during his days as senator and even as a pravite citizen. 

“We have come here today to declear our support to Team Dolo 2020 base on the following reasons, his communication skills, consultation, human capacity development especially young people, job creation among others”. 

Accepting the former Cooper auxiliary group, Saye Taryoor A Dolo expressed gratitude to the group and said that his arms was open to work with them to move Nimba to another positive level when elected as senator of the county. 

Dolo speaking in an exclusive interview with reporters mentioned that the people of Nimba have now seeing that it was a mistake they made in 2011 by voting him out of the Liberian Senate. 

Saye Taryoor A Dolo was elected in 2005 on the Liberia Action Party (LAP) as junior senator of Nimba County, but lost his re-election to incumbent senator Thomas Grupee in the 2011 general and presidential elections. 

He claimed that some of his failed as senator for the county was not uniting the five tribes of Nimba, but vow to do so if elected in the December special senatorial election.
