Central Bank official urges Tubman High School graduates to seek higher education

The Williams V.S. Tubman on Tuesday held its 52nd graduation convocations putting out Two Hundred and forty students.

Serving as guest speaker at the ceremony   Deputy CENTAL BANK GOVERNOR DR. MUSA DUKULY urged the students to   persevere and remain steadfast  in their quest to achieve higher education.

He  spoke on the Topic “Walking away out of Poverty”.

Dr. Dukuly a 1994 graduate of Tubman High School admonished  the graduating class to PERSEVERE AFTER HIGH school graduation and encouraged to be studious and determine in order to take control of their own lives.

He urged the students to take advantage of the state-run University where fees are little in other to avoid putting what he termed “pressure on parents” to send them in private colleges and university.             

For his part, the Principle the Williams V.S. Tubman high school Alassis N. Goldore called on the graduating Class to be discipline and consistency throughout their educational Sojourns.

He however used the medium to appreciate all the administrative and teaching staff for the tireless work done over the period.

The 52nd graduation ceremony was held at the Gymnasium of William V.S. Tubman High School on 17Street, Sinkor.

Founded in 1968, the William V. S. Tubman High School is the biggest public secondary school in Liberia with a student population of over 1000 students’ enrolment as of 2018.
