The National Association of Foreign Exchange Bureau of Liberia (NAFEBOL) has supported the printing of new Liberian Dollar notes.

According to the President of NAFEBOL, Nimely Sayeh, the printing of new banknotes will foster adequate business transaction among Liberians and foreign residents.

President Sayeh made the statement Thursday in an interview with journalists in Monrovia.

He noted that the changing of difference Liberian Dollars on the market will go a long way to stabilize the Liberian Economy.

He pointed out that stabilizing the economy is critical toward the monetary value of the country currency which play major in the process.

President Sayeh stressed that NAFEBOL is working on the process of decentralizing foreign bureau across the nation .

He added that the association is currently provide identification cards for all it’s members around the country to prevent money laundry.

He asserted  that more young Liberians have engaged the foreign exchange bureau and the association has been providing some trainings to enhance their capacities in the sector.

 Sayeh emphasized that to strengthen the economic system of Liberia, the monetary policy should be prioeitized.
