The daughter former Chief Justice Gloria Musu Scott Charloe Musu a prospective graduate of the Starz University College died while Alice Johnson was left in a critical condition after been stabbed in an armed robbery attack at their home between 9 to 10PM on Wednesday, February 22,2023 in the township of Virginia outside capital Monrovia

Madam Scott reportedly used pepper spray to escape after one of the robbers attempted to stab her to death. She escaped unhurt.

Police earlier investigation stated that the attacker was a domestic worker who hide himself in the house after work to carry out the attack.

But family of the Justice Scott rejected the police statement, noting that at the time of the incident, there was no work ongoing at the House.

“Let us make it clear that when these two previous attacks took place, there were no contractors and interestingly the attackers did not take any valuables. Instead, they searched every document they could lay hands on, giving us reason to believe that the attacks which resulted into the death of a promising young woman were also meant to recover some documents they perceive or believe we had in our possession” the family in a statement issued in Monrovia.

The government through the Liberia National Police has come serious public criticism for failing to respond to complain by the former Chief Justice following the first two attacks on her home.
