A Liberian and longtime educator, Madam Gloria Freeman Fromayan has expressed joy in the growth and development of a secondary school she founded few years ago, Luke International School.

Established in 2017, Luke International School has 27 students from the beginning, but  has since grown to over 160 students.

Mrs. Fromayan  who is also serving as principal of the school  told the Liberia Public Radio,  International Correspondent on Monday in Abidjan that few professional women with the objective to have a Christian based school in Abidjan founded the school along with her.

“I tell people that all I know I spent most of my years teaching at the International Community School of Abidjan (ICSA).

I spent two years at the American school in Tunisia and I was given the opportunity to come back to Abidjan and go straight into administration at the International Community School of Abidjan where I worked as elementary principal”, madam Fromayan told our reporter.

She added that the past 6 years she and her team focus has been  to build a quality task focusing on the Christian curriculum called Abeka from the United States of America that has been in existence for more than three  and the half decades now.

Meanwhile madam Fromayan said the school is expected to hold its first graduation program in 2024.

She disclosed that the Luke International School has a cordial relationship with students, teaching staff as well as parents.

The veteran educator further stressed the importance of quality education and encouraged parents not to relent in sending their children to school.
