The Citizen Movement for Change (CMC) has intensified its drive toward national transformation as Political Leader Rep. Musa Hassan Bility and newly inducted Vice Chair for Mobilization, Youth Leader, and Humanitarian Musa Al Hakim Kamara pledged to take the movement to every corner of Liberia through people-centered development and grassroots engagement.
At a colorful gathering held at the Stephen Tolbert Estate Field over the weekend, Musa Al Hakim Kamara officially accepted his appointment as Vice Chair for Mobilization, describing the trust reposed in him as a call to service and a mandate to unite Liberians behind the vision of the Citizen Movement for Change.
Expressing profound gratitude to the leadership of the party and its supporters, Kamara vowed to dedicate himself to expanding the CMC across District #12 and throughout Liberia.
He pledged that his mobilization efforts would prioritize inclusiveness, with special attention given to persons living with disabilities, market women, youth, and community dwellers, ensuring that every Liberian has a voice and a stake in the movement.
“We will reach every corner of District #12 and beyond. This assignment is not merely a position but a responsibility to serve the people and strengthen a movement that represents hope for ordinary Liberians,” Kamara declared amid cheers from supporters.
Meanwhile, CMC Political Leader Musa Hassan Bility reaffirmed his commitment to changing the ‘narrative’ of Liberia through practical solutions and direct engagement with communities.
According to him, the movement’s philosophy is rooted in service and accountability, promising that Liberians will witness CMC members actively working alongside citizens to improve their communities.
“You will see us in your communities. You will see us cleaning clinics and clearing gutters. We are going to build roads that are not passable in your communities, and where the Liberia Electricity Corporation refuses to provide electricity, we will bring solar lights,” Bility assured supporters.
The CMC Political Leader emphasized that the movement is determined to address challenges affecting ordinary Liberians and restore confidence in leadership through visible actions rather than empty promises.
He further challenged citizens to demand accountability from politicians seeking office in the future.
“You can count on the CMC. When politicians come to you in 2029, ask them to report what they have done over the past six years,” Bility asserted, stressing that genuine leadership must be measured by tangible results and service to the people.
Together, the pronouncements of Bility and Vice Chair for Mobilization Musa Al Hakim Kamara underscored the Citizen Movement for Change’s broader agenda of community empowerment, grassroots development, and inclusive governance.

Their message resonated strongly with supporters, many of whom hailed Kamara’s appointment as recognition of his longstanding humanitarian contributions and youth leadership.
As the CMC continues to build momentum across the country, both leaders maintained that unity, accountability, and dedication to the welfare of ordinary citizens will remain the foundation upon which the movement seeks to usher in a new chapter for Liberia.
With renewed determination and an expanding grassroots base, the Citizen Movement for Change says it is poised to inspire hope, deliver practical solutions, and bring meaningful transformation to communities across Liberia.
The CMC is one of Liberia’s newly certified political parties, established by Nimba County District#7 Representative Musa Bility.
