Estelle Liberty, CEO of Purukpeh Agriculture Farm, and processing has joined fellow Liberian agribusiness executives and processors on a one-week study tour in Ghana, aimed at deepening institutional knowledge and strengthening value chain innovation.
The initiative, supported by UNIDO’s Grow 2 Liberia program, will expose participants to advanced agro-processing, market systems, and trade facilitation across multiple sectors.
The delegation’s itinerary includes visits to leading Ghanaian institutions and enterprises such as the Food Research Institute, the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and specialized processing centres for cassava, cocoa, and horticulture. Participants will also engage with companies like FairAfric, Meanan Foods, Since Shea, and Eden Tree, gaining insights into innovation in chocolate, shea butter, and vegetable value chains.

Market systems and trade facilitation will be explored through field visits to Hendy Farms, Osiru Farms, and Kobs Farms, alongside institutional engagements with the Ghana Tree Crop Development Authority and the Ghana Export Promotion Authority.
The tour will conclude with strategic sessions at Africa Trade Academy and Epack, consolidating lessons learned and charting a way forward for Liberian agribusiness.Over the years, UNIDO Grow 2 Liberia has provided training and technical support to Purukpeh Agriculture Farm and other processors, building resilience and competitiveness in Liberia’s agricultural sector.

This study tour represents a continuation of that commitment, offering Liberian CEOs practical exposure to Ghana’s thriving agro-processing ecosystem
