CRCA prioritizes health protocols in Liberia

The Christian Revival Church Association (CRCA) wants Liberians to prioritize all measures concerning the health protocols to prevent the further spread of the coronavirus in the country.

According to the Project Coordinator of CRCA Yassah  J. David, the coronavirus is real and Liberians should not  take it for granted, but they should continue to observe all the preventive measures which have been set up by the Ministry of Health and the National Public Health Institute of Liberia .

Coordinator David made the disclosure Monday May 4, 2020 when CRCA distributed food items to members of the CRCA’s Church on 12th Street in Sinkor suburb of Monrovia.

She stressed that Liberians should always observed washing of hands, wearing of masks and social distancing must be taken seriously to prevent several people contracting the deadly disease.

She indicated that although some people are also in state of denial of the coronavirus in the country, but it is good to continue to educate public about the preventive measures to avoid further spread of COVID-19.  

Coordinator David emphasized that CRCA intends to provide more one thousand bags of rice to more of their members in the rest of the six counties beside Montserrado County which CRCA Churches are based in the country.

She explained the Bishop of CRCA’s office and its partners could make further resources available to ensure that the rice and oil can be distributed in these counties.

She narrated that despite the current health situation prevailing the nation, CRCA will always like to identify with its members be it good or bad time and hoped that this will help in the process of the State of Emergency.

Coordinator maintained that the food items have been distributed to eight local churches within the Monrovia region and the leadership is expecting more provisions to enhance the process the distribution in the rural parts of the country.

Meanwhile, the Secretary General of the Monrovia Region of CRCA, Deacon Mambu K. Boakai said the food items provided is timely for members in this critical time of the nation health emergency.

Deacon Boakai stated that CRCA is always coming to the needs of the people in the local churches and this is one of its ways to identify the members.

He expressed thank and appreciation to the office of the Bishop and its partners to make available these food items to their Liberia’s brothers and sisters.
