The Liberia Water & Sewer Corporation (LWSC) is stepping up efforts to bring safe, pipe-borne water to communities in the South-Eastern region.

Deputy Managing Director for Administration, Mr.  T. Wilson Gaye, recently led a delegation to Greenville, Sinoe County, where they met with residents living on LWSC-owned properties. The meeting helped resolve longstanding concerns and cleared the way for the Greenville Water Supply Expansion Project to move forward.

Mr. Gaye praised the cooperation of local stakeholders, noting that the discussions were “constructive and successful,” and emphasized that the project will benefit Greenville and nearby communities.

He also thanked the City Authorities of Greenville and District #1 Representative Rep. Thomas Romeo Quiah for their support, while recognizing LWSC Managing Director Mo Ali and other senior staff for their contributions.

The initiative in Greenville is part of LWSC’s broader plan to expand reliable water services to counties such as Grand Gedeh, Maryland, River Gee, River Cess, and Sinoe.

After the Greenville engagement, Hon. Gaye and his team continued their mission in Pleebo and Harper, focusing on improving water access and service delivery across the region.
