2nd Chance Music Ministry Foundation donates to less fortunate organizations

The second Chance Foundation, the charity arm of the 2nd Chance Music Ministry international has presented over 250 bags of 25kg rice to five needed organizations.

Donating to the institutions, Abraham H. Gbah, head of the 2nd chance foundation Hunger Project said the gesture was their foundation’s own way of identifying with people  who  are in dying need especially at this time of COVID-19.

He said the food item was made possible by their partners in the U.S.A to be given to physically challenged and orphanages in Montserrado County.

Institutions that benefited from the rice donation include the Group of 77, the Antoinette Chercher Care home in sinkor, Mother Victoria Care home in Matadi and the School of Blind in Paynesville outside of Monrovia.

The second chance foundation also donated to the Comfort Toe Orphanage located in Brewerville Montserrado.

According to Mr. Gbah, though the Amount was not enough to cater fully to the food need of orphans and disable homse but will go a long way amid the coronavirus pandemic that has made it hard for physically challenged people to be fed.

Second Chance at CAB resource center in R2 community

In response, Mr. Beyan Korta, head of the Christian Association of the Blind (CAB) lauded 2nd Chance Foundation for the level of love they demonstrated to feed the needed.

Mr. Korta said the donation to CAB and other disable organizations by 2nd Chance had come a time when support to them has become scare.

Robert Field Highway, Mr. Korta further added that support to his organization has not been forth coming to low budgetary support from government.

The cost of the rice donated is put at more than $USD 4,000.00.
