Pressure is reportedly increasing on S. Marcus Jalarue, the President of the Grand Gedeh County Youth Development Association, as youth representatives from eight administrative districts are allegedly calling for an emergency congress. This comes amid controversy surrounding a leaked audio recording related to an alleged US$4,000 disclosure.

Information circulating on social media and within youth circles in Grand Gedeh County indicates that the leaked audio has ignited serious debates among association members. Several district youth leaders are reportedly demanding accountability and transparency from the current leadership.

The situation raises questions about whether a vote of no confidence could be passed against President Jalarue during the proposed emergency congress. Although details surrounding the alleged US$4,000 remain unclear, critics within the association argue that the leaked conversation has damaged the credibility of the youth leadership and undermined trust among members across the county.

Sources close to the ongoing discussions suggest that district youth representatives are expected to meet in the coming days to determine the next steps, including whether to introduce formal charges or proceed with a vote of no confidence against the embattled youth president.

Meanwhile, supporters of President Jalarue have described the growing calls for action as politically motivated, arguing that the matter should be thoroughly investigated before any decisions are made.

As tensions continue to rise, many young people in Grand Gedeh are closely monitoring the developments. Some are calling for unity, while others insist that accountability must remain a priority within the county’s youth leadership structure. As of now, President S. Marcus Jalarue has not publicly addressed the allegations or the reported calls for an emergency congress.
