NPP Bong Chapter expresses dismay over ruling party chairman leaked audio, wants thorough investigation

The chairman of National Patriotic Party, NPP Bong Chapter has expressed dismay over the leaked audio circulating in the public believed to be the voice of the National Chairman of the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC), Mulbah Morlu.

According to NPP Bong Chapter Chairman James Dorbor Nakulah Sao the audio mentioned plan for the removal of Vice President Chief Dr.Jewell Howard Taylor by some Senior Members of the Coalition, who are also Members of the inner Cycle of President George Weah.

Chairman Sao in an interview with our correspondent in Gbarnga added that the revelation in the recording has “serious implication” to the peace and unity of the marriage between the NPP and the CDC and other Liberia People Democratic Party (LPDP).

 Recently, a leaked audio believed to be the voice of chairman of the ruling coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) Mulbah K. Morlu was obtained by some media institutions in Monrovia.

  The audio further detailed that the same individuals mentioned in the audio were planning the strangulation and removal of the NPP Standard bearer in February of this year.

Mr. Sao claimed that VP Taylor has been deprived of her Services and benefits as vice president thus making it hard to her office to smoothly operate.

Chairman Sao told Journalists that the NPP Bong Chapter is seriously concern about the constant revelations about threat on the standard bearer of the party with no statement or action from the leadership of the Coalition for Democratic change.

There has been series of internal wrangling within the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) with some sources saying President George Weah does not want to see Chairman Mulbah Morlu as chairman of part any longer.
