Covid-19: FDA institutes several measures on health protocols

The Forestry Development Authority (FDA) has instituted several preventive measures to enhance employees’ safety in adherence to the Health protocols put into place by the government to stop the spread of the Coronavirus.

According to FDA Managing Director Mike Doyen, the measures include the reduction of the work force by 40 percent, the hiring of a nurse to check the temperature levels of all persons entering and leaving the premises of the entity and restriction placed on private visits among others.

Mr. Doyen also said the FDA General Services department has constructed three huge containers of sensitizers at all entry points to encourage hand washing.

A release said, the FDA Managing Director made the disclosure recently when Euro-Liberia Logging Company presented a 1,500 United States Dollars check to management of FDA in support of entity’s fight against the Coronavirus.

The Check was presented by the head of the company Jihab Arkara.

It can be recalled that last week the Management of the Forestry Development Authority (FDA) instituted several preventive measures in the wake of the pandemic.

These measures, among other things, include the reduction of the work force by 40 percent, the hiring of a nurse to check the temperature levels all persons entering or leaving the premises and restriction placed on private visits.

General Services department has constructed three huge containers of sensitizers at all entry points. All employees and visitors are strictly mandate to observe these standing rules and regulation such as washing hands upon entry or leaving the premises.
