Residents of the Farmersville Township in Greenville are rejecting the County Health Team moved to use the County Youth Center a facility located in the Township as Temporary Precautionary Observational center for Codvid -19 Contacts.

Speaking on behalf of residents of the township, Elder Rev. Abraham D.S Pantoe and the township Commissioner Saywon Wah express frustration over the county local authority and the county health team decision in making the Sinoe Youth building as a precautionary Observational Center  (POC) for Codvid-19 contacts, stating that it’s a serious treats to the township as the facility is located in the heart of the Community.

According to the two men the community was never informed as to give their consent to the decision, they further added that the surrounding of the facility pay host to the community hand pump and the children playground.

‘’The facility is where we get our drinking water and is the same place our children play ground is located, what makes it more dangerous is the facility do not have a fence’’ Commissioner Wah said.

Residents then calls on the Local Authority and the Sinoe County Health team to reconsider their decision as they don’t feel safe with that action.
