Moses Meah inspires Grand Bassa in County Meet opener

Grand Bassa County made a blistering start to the 2021 National County Sports Meet as fans Jubilate  their team 2-0 win over host Margibi County in the opening match of the National County Sports Meet.

The Gbenzon boys secured a comfortable 2-0 win over Margibi at the Nancy B. Doe Staduim with Cece United forward Moses Meah scoring both the goals.

Africa Icon and Liberian Soccer Legend President George Manneh Weah did the official kickoff to commerce the nation premier -Sporting festival that will gathered 15 Counties and 16 tribes across Liberia.

Last year finalist, Montserrado County will take on Rivergee County at the same venue, while Nimba County play Rivercess in Sanniquellie, 2019-2020 Champion Grand Kru will knock boots with Bong County in the late kickoff, Grand Gedeh and Maryland play in Zwedru, while Bomi and Grand Cape Mount engage each other in Tubmanburg, Champion Lofa play Gbarpolu at the same venue all on Sunday.
