…owes Sports Enterprise 514,050 Liberian Dollars 

Grand Cape Mount County authority has been accused of owing Playzah Williams Sports Enterprise, located down water side, Happy Cornor, Central Monrovia a Sum of Five hundred and Fourteen Thousands and Fifty (514,050) Liberian Dollars.

The Sum of money owed is for Sports Wears, including 25 pieces Soccer Boots, 7pcs Track Suits for females, 2 Set of Jersey 30 pieces each for male and females teams, and socks 40pieces girls and 60pieces, credited and worth USD $ 4,927 that could have enable the participated in the 2017 Edition of the National Counties Sports Meets.

Playzah Williams, CEO of the Sports Enterprise, is alleging that the Grand Cape Mount  County authority has refused to refund his money for Business, since five years ago, despite all efforts to reach the required authority of football in Liberia, to have his money pay, failed.

He told Liberia Public Radio, he has absorb efforts, contacting the Ministry of Youth & Sports (MYS), through its deputy Minister for Sports, G. Andy Quamie, but that didn’t came into fruition as Mr. Quamie persuade toward the County Authority also declined.

In a Document in the Possession of Liberia Public Radio proved, Mr.Emmanuel Tamba, who was the Secretary General of the Grand Cape Mount County Sports Association in that year,  signed on behalf of the county on the indebted bills, while Sando Fahnbulleh, former Stewart of the Liberia Football Association (LFA), and head of the 2017 Grand Cape Mount County Sports Steering Committee, approved and signatory the Credit Materials on behalf of Grand Cape Mount County.

Both Men, Speaking in an exclusive Interviewed with LPR, did confirmed that the County is indebted to the Playzah Williams Sports Enterprise,” Grand Cape Mount County 2017 Sports Steering Committee head, Fahnbulleh, confirmed it was the County Authority, who has credited the worth of $4,927 United States dollars, sports materials to ensured  the Grand Cape Mount County participate in that year event.

For his part, Emmanuel Tamba, who signatory the credit documents, said the County has made an initial payment of $1,500 United States Dollars, toward the materials credited that year, but all effort to get the remaining sum of $3,427, United States dollars, to the Sports Enterprise, has elapsed as authorities has since applied leniency in paying the money, until the transition of a new County Sports Steering Committee leadership.

Also Speaking, Africanous Fahnbulleh, current head of the 2022 -2023 Grand Cape Mount County Sports Steering Committee, did notify Liberia Public Radio, that the county owes the enterprise and is soliciting funds from the County Authority, partly with allotments from the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MYS) that will enabled them get prepared to participate in the 2022-2023 Edition of the National Counties Sports Meets.

However, when contacted Aaron Vincent, Grand Cape County, Superintendent, did acknowledged the County was owing the Playzah Williams Sports Enterprise, a Sum of money, but asked the Media to speak to the Steering Committee head, Africanous Fahnbulleh.
