The Alumni Association of Karnplay Inland Academy (Kiaaa) has donated several anti-COVID-19 materials to some recognized institutions in Karnplay city Nimba County.

Making the donations at the Karnplay inland academy auditorium recently, the acting chairman of the association Franklin Miamen said, the donation was the association way of identifying with the community as the number of COVID-19 cases continue to surge in Liberia.

Miamen asserted that they got their secondary education in the community, as such; they deemed it necessary to give back to the community especially during this critical time in the country.

Speaking further, Miamen clarified that the association is a non-political grouping consisting of graduates from the school basing in Liberia and the diaspora.

Institutions that benefited from the gesture include the Karnplay Inland Academy, the only government high school in the place Karn High School, Karnplay Denton Baptist School, Radio Karn Voice of Peace a local Radio station in Karnplay and the Karnplay health center.

Items donated also include 19begs of 25kg rice, three large buckets, tide soap, face masks among others.
