National Institute of Professional Studies held 32nd Convocation

The National Institute of Professional Studies school of Health Sciences, at Caldwell Bridge, over the weekend, held its 32nd Convocation exercise at the Organization of African Unity Conference Center, hotel Africa Road, and Montserrado County.

 

NIPS were recently recognized with nursing pins after completing the school’s Diplomas Nurse Assistant and Drugs Dispensing program. 

The nine months program prepares students for a nursing career and for transfer into a four-year university degree program.

During his speech, Hon. Abraham Askie Director of Inspection at the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning MFDP through a proxy, congratulated the graduating students on their splendid success and lauded the  National Institute of Professional studies (NIPS) for providing exceptional knowledge and skills that enable the graduates to lead professionally rewarding life.

The Proxy on behalf of the MFDP inspection director, urged the graduates not limit themselves as they have obtain just a nursing certificate, but should be eager to do more.

 

He expressed pleasure to see quite a good number of graduates in varied disciplines being produced by the National Institute of Professional studies (NIPS) school of health sciences and said that the conferment of Diplomas proves that school is fully aware about the importance of Health Sciences.

 

For his part the founder and chief executive director of National Institute of Professional studies NIPS, Franklin Janjay Kardor gratitude to the guests for presence at the convocation and congratulated the students and their parents for the outstanding performance and wished them a prosperous future ahead. He added that NIPS is striving to provide the best academic environment, accurate vocational studies and highly qualified faculty for its students so that they can contribute towards the economic growth of the country.

 

“As graduates we salute your courage to stand the test of time and abandon everything else in favor of this life saving journey, “let me reassured you that with the knowledge we have given you, and your own research, commitment and dedication, the sky will be your limit, Kardor said.

Always keep your heads up high because it is the collection of your little efforts and services that will combine to keep Liberia healthy.” Kardor added.

Meanwhile, the National Institute of Professional Studies (NIPS) was founded on April 28, 2000 and its objectives  is providing skills training program for all as a means of buttressing the Government effort to improving the livelihood of its citizens.

NIP aimed is given hope to the unskilled who desired skills and goal is to transformed society through intensive and realistic capacity building.
